Most among us have heard the powerful well-known teaching of the Gemara (Sotah 2a) that shidduchim is as difficult as splitting the Yam Suf. This shvi’i shel Pesach, the time of the splitting of the sea, an incredible and powerful tradition will be continued: As the middle of the night approaches, specially appointed emissaries of Vaad HaRabbonim will arrive at Amukah. 

Amukah, the tomb of R. Yonason ben Uzziel, is traditionally known as the best place on earth to daven for shidduchim and parnassah.

Each year Vaad HaRabbonim collects tzedaka for an amazing cause: Financial help for poor families in Israel who desperately need their help. In return for this important endeavor, donors of $101 or more have their name added to the prayer lists, to be personally prayed for at Amukah.

The unbelievable news has spread quickly: 90% of those who have joined this campaign in the past, have gotten married.

If you know anyone who needs the shidduch, now is the time. The night of Shvi’i Shel Pesach at Amukah is a segulah very few have the chance to participate in in their lifetime. Join together with a reputable tzedaka organization, and b’ezras Hashem this year you or someone you love will have the zechus to start their married life in the merit of their donation.
