Rebuild R' Rottenberg Mikvah

On Yom Kippur we say the words Mi Bamayim Umi B'beish. It is with a tragic sense of irony that a fire broke out in the mikvah area of Bais Moshe Shmiel on 4:40 pm on Sunday May 13th. The electrical fire quickly tore through the very mikvah that thousands of yidden are metaher in daily, weekly, and on the days preceeding the Yomim Naraim. After 2 hours the firefighters were finally finished fighting the flames, but the damage was unfortunately done, leaving the mikvah area in ruins and the shul above in an unfortunate state. 

The Mikvah at R' Rottenbergs has been used by all types of people.  No matter the level of Yiddishkeit, thousands have come to prepare themselves for Tefilla  and Torah, dipping in the water, coming out clean and renewed. This was not just a community mikvah. It was Klal Yisroel's mikvah.

Please help us bring the mikvah and the shul back to serve the community and Klal Yisroel as soon as possible. Shavous is days away and hundreds of people would have come to use this mikvah. If you have been a beneficiary of this mikvah or just have the ability to help in any way, please help. Help the Shul and the Mikvah continue to serve the community and Klal Yisroel as a place where every person can create a connection to Hashem.
