Hi, I’m Racheli. I’m getting married in a few days.

 

My situation isn’t like most kallahs. I don’t have any parents. My mom passed away years ago. My dad died recently, suddenly, from a heart attack. He left behind 4 kids. I’ve had to be the head of the house, like their mom in a way. I work at a kindergarden to bring home a paycheck, and I get by okay. Not having my dad still hurts, though.

 

Baruch Hashem I’m engaged to be married in a few days. Right now, I’m scared because I don’t have the things that I need. One girl’s paycheck isn’t enough to build a home, to get the things that I personally need. I’m tired of being another sad story, of begging for help .. but in this case, I mamash have no choice. This is my chance, to get on my own two feet and start a family of my own. To escape from the pain that I’ve been through and start something new. But I need help to do it.

 

If you’re able to help me, it would be like a miracle to me. Please, if you can. I don’t have parents looking after me, making sure the kallah gets what she needs. I won’t have them to walk with me to my chuppah. But if you can help me here, I’ll feel like someone out there cares. This would make my dreams come true.
