EVERY SEFER COUNTS!

Background:
B"H There is an explosion of new Seforim being printed. In the last decade, new Seforim have been appearing at a rate of 10 a day.
Printing your own Sefer has become the rule. Without a publisher and professional distribution, many worthwhile Seforim never reach their readership.
A huge amount of creativity and money is getting lost because no one can see the trees (the best Seforim) because of the forest of new ones.

The Seforim in Demand Catalog:
VirtualGeula.com has created a Seforim in Demand Catalogue to identify, display and sell important Seforim.
The Seforim in Demand catalogue is unique because it is community-run. Our readers help choose what we post. It is unique because it combines complete yet concise information with pictures. It is unique because it's not just information about the book, but is also about getting you a copy of the Sefer.
====
What can we do?
We need to accelerate the cataloguing of important Seforim online.
Every Sefer that is catalogued is a Sefer that becomes available to Klal Yisrael worldwide.
For the past 14 years, we have catalogued an average of 200 titles a year. Now with our new cataloguing system, we hope to catalogue 7,000 selected new Seforim over the next 2 years.
This Campaign is starting now and will continue until Shavuot.
=====
Sponsor one Sefer or many:
The cost to catalogue one Sefer is only $5.
You can sponsor any number of books you like from 1-7,000.
Our goal is to raise $35,000 in order to catalogue 7,000 Seforim.
There are gifts for the biggest sponsors:
The largest contributor will receive three Seforim of his choice from this collection of antique Seforim.
The next four largest contributors will also receive also free antique Seforim from this collection.
Every sponsor of 100 Seforim or more may put his dedication on the opening page of the website for one year.
=====
How to Sponsor:
You can use the VirtualGeula SSL secure registration page to make your donation >Here.
Or use the ChessedFund Donate button above to sponsor Seforim.
Or use the VirtualGeula Paypal link >Here.
Or write to VirtualGeula >Here if you prefer to make a bank transfer or need more information
=====
In conclusion:
Where is my money going and what can $5 do?
Your $5 will catalogue one Sefer on VirtualGeula. By giving something small you can do something big. Every Sefer counts!
But why should we encourage Avrechim (Torah scholars) to self-publish?
Serious top Avrechim do not have the funds to print and the means to distribute their Sefer. Most Sifrei Kodesh publishers today only print Seforim that are paid for up front! But we can all help them and benefit from their Limud Torah.
What are your criteria for choosing Seforim?
We prioritize Seforim which are original, well-written, interesting, and what our users are asking for...
