Chany Reisz a”h, changed our world for the better.   She had no limit on love what-so-ever.

 ANY background, any walk of life, Chasidish, Sefardi, Ashkenaz, religious, not religious, Jew and even non-Jew..... everyone was welcomed into her life in the most loving and warm way.   Chany would inquire about each person’s life - and had to know details - making you feel as though it was so important to her. It was! She knew of your simchos and your vacations and lived vicariously through them. Her inquiries were so sincere.   She brought out the "best you" in everyone.

Chany was the heartbeat of anything and everything she was part of!   SHE made it the fun it was!   She was the life of every party!!   She loved to be a part of everything!   And this was with everyone in her life.   Chany's love for life was tangible!   Hearing how she'd anticipate activities and outings, goings and comings, you felt her simchas hachayim!   Her excitement was contagious.   She made YOU excited for what was coming up!   Her counselors at Camp Simcha tell that no matter what the activity, Chany pumped it up!   Chany maximized it to a greatness!

A few weeks before Chany went into the hospital, her friend asked, "Chany, who's going in the car with you?"   Chany didn't hesitate, "Hashem!... And He's with me the entire time!...He's ALWAYS with me!"  Somehow Chany managed to turn anything into a positive! She was strong against this battle. She fought hard!  And she overcame SO MUCH!

A sefer torah is being written to perpetuate the memory and legacy of Chana Tziporah bas Nachum Yehuda HaKohen a”h.   It will be situated in Woodmere, New York, where it will be used daily. 

 We hope that participating in this campaign will bring chizuk and a nechama to all those who loved her.   It was a zechus to know such an amazing person and will be a tremendous aliyah to her neshama.
