My name is Chaim, I am the father of 14 children, k"ah, seven of whom still live at home. My wife Sarah a"h had always taken care of everything in the home.

Our lives turned to chaos when my wife was diagnosed with cancer. The illness dragged on and on, and my children suffered terribly without their mother. My time was divided between the hospital caring for my wife and watching her waste away, and home desperately trying to keep our family afloat.

After a year and half of chemotherapy, surgeries and terrible suffering the unthinkable happened: my wife passed away in August. 

Everything we had went towards my wife's treatments, we are now in hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt. How will we live, when there is no money left after all of the hospital expenses?

My oldest daughter, Esti, has done her best in these difficult months to take her mother’s place in caring for the house and her siblings in the best way possible.

Esti is now engaged and her wedding is this Thursday, 7 Adar B. We are still in mourning. I want to do everything I can for her – give her everything a kallah needs. But I have nothing to marry off my eldest daughter. She won’t have her mother walking her down to the chuppah, but she should at least have the basic things to start off her married life.

Please help me marry off my daughter with some sort of normalcy.
