Bein Ish Ubein Uchiv Shabbaton
The fight against cancer goes on interminably, and the long list of warriors engaged in this battle seems to be never-ending. If you were given the opportunity to grant these brave people a reprieve, wouldn’t you feel gratified?
If you would have the ability to help these soldiers lay down their weapons and cease fighting to rest their weary souls from the fight of their lives, wouldn’t you immediately offer your assistance?
Bein Ish Ubein Uchiv does exactly that. Throughout the year our devoted volunteers work tirelessly to ease the burden of those whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Once a year there is a gala event where for an entire weekend patients and their families are invited to a hotel for respite and relaxation. There is no mention of treatments or protocols, or of doctors, nurses, or hospitals. Instead, there is upbeat music, spirited dancing, joyous laughter, and inspiring speeches. But most of all, there is the feeling of hope that is infused throughout the weekend.
While volunteers entirely staff our organization, this weekend cannot possibly happen with good intentions alone.
The costs are prohibitive, and an enormous amount of money must be raised to cover the exorbitant bills. We, therefore, beseech you to open your hearts and to join us in helping our very own heroes.
