After attending a music festival, a horrific stampede took the lives of 21 people. This was the seminal event in my life that set me on the path to Judaism. Up until this point, I was on the brink of international fame in the European racing circuit. The next several years sent me down a winding trail of mitzvah observance, Torah learning, wonder and awe. Four years ago I met my wife, and together with our two children, we have started to build a home of our own.

the lifeline to our religious and social support network in Israel, we have dreamed of purchasing an apartment to allow for our future growth. Several months ago, the Israeli Housing Ministry announced a limited auction, of cost-price apartments, open to financially struggling couples. Under the advice of many, I entered my family’s name. As a result of Hashem’s kindness, our name was chosen for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Together with my savings and the graces of friends like yourself, I have managed to produce 85% of the required funds. With two weeks until the impending payment deadline, I am still in need of an additional $9,000 before assuming the bank mortgage. Instead of failing to act, I am launching this campaign to act as if it is impossible for me to fail. Please open your heart and assist me in locking down this opportunity. The chesed of Klal Yisrael is legendary, please offer your assistance and allow me to get through this difficult time.
